Pre-entering a server-address

Hello,

I am currently working on deploying an instant messaging system to a group of people who also like to draw together and stuff like this. I sorta want them to be represented by their domain they live on, for other Jabber users. So I chose Jabber, yeah, and I already have my own server started up and running quite nicely.

Now I want to deploy Coccinella to those people, but I have but one problem right there: To minimize support needs while deploying it, I want to pre-enter pieces of information when using Coccinella. Like the server address and port. Nothing except the login credentials should be requested to be entered. I don't want to quit access to those options, I just want them to be entered at startup, and maybe not even show them without going into options.

Also: Why do I have to enter a server address seperately? Let me explain: I go to "New account", there I gotta enter a server. But it won't connect if the server settings are left like that! I have to go to the arrow down. There I have to choose "server", and there I gotta type in the server again.

Heres a screen for better understanding:

And that's exactly the reason I want to have it preconfigured. I want to have it "Click and Run(tm)" like the other instant messengers. I really love the freedom of Jabber, but with all the different servers, you have to push your often computer-inexperienced and ICQ/AIM/MSN-using users into the right direction ;). Some really can't do more than entering their user and password.

EDIT: Also, when using the wizard to enter the server, it will not connect either, it times out! I HAVE to enter it into this textbox in the screenshot.

A similar question has been asked in the past. Maybe the comments will help you?

Maybe this is a requirement of your server; some servers use a different addressfor the client to connect. Is this your own server? Do you have more informtion about it?
