Feature requests, where to post?

I just started using Coccinella. For me it looks like good jabber client, but there are some flaws in it.
I have few feature requests for it:

- I don't want so see 'away' and 'available' messages, they fill chat windows and hide real discussion.
User preferences should have option for hiding them?
Meanwhile, I suppose I have to bould my own version without those messages. In average, I get 5 lines precense
change messages per hour for every person. In 5 person chat, that means 200 lines garbage during 8 hour
working day!

- Ctrl-PageUp/Ctlr-PageDown for moving in tabs, just like in browsers. Now when selecting tab with mouse I
accidentally too often click for close-button :-(

- For some reason freshly started Coccinella suggests irc.jabbber.myorg.com as chatroom server. That is not true,
and looks like I have to re-type correct server every time I start coccinella. That server name should be possible to
save in account data?

Is this place correct for posting feature requests?

I guess this sounds very similar to this feature request: https://bugs.launchpad.net/coccinella/+bug/182243

How do you mean? You can bookmark rooms (and optionally let Coccinella automatically join them): this is what you need, isn't it?

Yes, this is ok. You also can add them directly to our bug tracker (also for feature wishes), but as you can see you should be careful to not post duplicate request reports.

Yes, same thing. I don't have such strict requirements, for me getting rid of them is enough.
For me it's sufficient to see if party is online or not. At the moment I cannot use coccinella in general case.

Yes, something like that. It should be possible to use Coccinella without touching mouse at all.
Using same shortcuts & behaviour as firefox would make sense.
In that bug switching tabs requires selecting tabs first?

I mean in 'Enter chatroom' dialog. I need to fix 'Service' before using Discover. I found out how to add bookmark for chat, but can't find any way to use them? Bookmarked chatrooms should be in buddylist, and option for opening some of the chatrooms automatically in login would nice bonus :-)

According your comment this should be status right now, but I can't find how?

We don't add rooms in the Contacts tab because this is for contacts, not for rooms. I know some other clients do it this way, but IMO that is a usability issue as it can confuse people.

  • Use the bookmark button in a chatroom to bookmark it.
  • Use Actions/Edit Bookmarks... to manually add new bookmarks or to edit other bookmarks (e.g. password and auto-join!)
  • In the Enter Chatroom dialog you have a small arrow at the right side on the first line. Click on it and you will get a drop-down list of all your bookmarks.

There are now preliminary toggle buttons in both dialogs
- Ctrl-PageUp/Ctlr-PageDown for moving in tabs...
Done.

In the combobox I just list all services that support text conference, and it can happen that a non jabber one comes first. I could perhaps try to detect this by discoing it. It has a

Any muc capable conference is now selected as a default in the room enter dialog.
